Old Man Winter!!!!!

All week the weathermen said that we should prepare for lots of snow and ice to fall Thursday and Friday. Because I am one of those people that is afraid of not be prepared, I stocked up on everything I thought we might need if the electric went out.  So imagine our surprise when we woke up to the ectricity still on and everything was covered in ice.

  

Then it started snowing on top of the ice.

And it's still snowing!!!  

  We have spent the day by the fireplace with a bowl of homemade chicken and noodle soup.

Our furry kids spent the day playing in the snow.

Isn't he cute? 

 This cat has been living on our porch to stay warm.

These two have become great friends. It is funny to watch them play with each other.  

Oklahoma weather is so crazy, you never know what is going to happen.  I am so glad that we have electricity.  The last time we had an ice storm the electric was out for almost a week and broken trees where everywhere.

LOOK WHO'S 2 MONTHS OLD!!

This is the 1st time Caliann's had her pictures taken professinally. She is starting to hold her head up and smile. Dalton is growing into to such a handsome dude. The quality of Wal-mart Studio's photography has come a long way since Dalton was a baby. The photographer was very patient and kind. I had to constantly tell Dalton to stop what he was doing and try to get Caliann to stop crying long enough for a picture, but it was worth it. I'm planning something special for Valentine's Day, but I want to give you a sneak peek before then.

My husband, Brad, and I have two beautiful children, Dalton and Caliann and two furry children, Jersey and Denver (mini Schnauzers). Dalton is a typical 9 year old boy, who loves the outdoors (like his daddy). Our new addition to the family is 7 week old Caliann (she is already showing signs of having her mommy's attitude). She took forever to get here, but almost 9 years after her brother she has finally arrived. I feel so blessed to have two kids.
